CD7 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody Product Datasheet Catalog# BX50100 Clone# BP6105 Predicted Molecular Wt: 25kDa Purity: ProA affinity purified IgG Species Cross-reactivity: Human Form: Liquid Applications: IHC-P Swissprot ID: P09564 Background: The CD7 molecule is a membrane-bound glycoprotein and is the earliest T cell specific antigen to be expressed in lymphocytes. CD7 antigen is also the only early marker to persist throughout differentiation. The function and role of the CD7 molecule has not yet been fully identified, although the activation of T cells with gamma/delta receptors has been proposed based on mAb- induced activation. CD7 antigen is reported to be found on the majority of peripheral blood T cells, most natural killer cells and thymocytes. Subcellular location: Membrane Recommended method: Heat induced epitope retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0), primary antibody incubate at RT (18°C-25°C) for 30 minutes. Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to residues within C- Term of CD7 was used as an immunogen. Storage Buffer: PBS 59%, Sodium azide 0.01%, Glycerol 40%, BSA 0.05%. Storage conditions: -25°C to -18°C Storage instructions: Shipped on blue ice. Upon delivery, aliquot, and store at -25°C to -18°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Recommended Dilutions: IHC-P: 1:100-1:200 Background References: 1. Cotta AC, et al. Appl Immunohistochem Mol Morphol. 2006 Sep; 14(3):291-5. 2. KimYH, Hoppe RT. Semin Oncol. 1999 Jun; 26(3):276-89.
