Background:
Human placental lactogen (also called CSH1 or HPL), is a member of the human growth hormone (hGH)/human placental lactogen gene family. It is important in the regulation of maternal and fetal metabolism, as well as the growth and
development of the fetus.
Antibody to HPL reacts with syncytiotrophoblastic cells inchoriocarcinoma and intermediate trophoblasts in trophoblastic tumors. It is a useful marker for tumors with trophoblast differentiation.

Recommended method:
Heat induced epitope retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer   (pH 9.0), primary antibody incubate at RT (18°C-25°C) for 30 minutes.
Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide corresponding to residues within    aa100-200 of Human Placental Lactogen was used as an immunogen.
Storage Buffer:
PBS 59%, Sodium azide 0.01%, Glycerol 40%, BSA 0.05%.
Storage conditions:
-25°C to -18°C
Storage instructions:
