MUC4 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody Product Datasheet Catalog# BX50117 Clone# BP6121 Predicted Molecular Wt: 232kDa Purity: ProA affinity purified IgG Species Cross-reactivity: Human Form: Liquid Applications: IHC-P Swissprot ID: Q99102 Background: MUC4 (mucin 4) is a large membrane-anchored glycoprotein of the mucin family that is expressed by epithelial cells in various normal tissues including lung, bronchus, stomach, colon, and cervix. MUC4 is generally not detected in normal pancreas, but is expressed in the vast majority of pancreatic neoplasms, such as pancreatic ductaladenocarcinoma. Additionally, expression in various carcinomas has been reported, including gastric adenocarcinoma, colon adenocarcinoma, and lung adenocarcinoma. Subcellular location: Cytoplasmic Recommended method: Heat induced epitope retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0), primary antibody incubate at RT (18°C-25°C) for 30 minutes. Immunogen: Recombinant fragment corresponding to HumanMUC4 with aa1500-2000 was used as an immunogen. Storage Buffer: PBS 59%, Sodium azide 0.01%, Glycerol 40%, BSA 0.05%. Storage conditions: -25°C to -18°C Storage instructions: Shipped on blue ice. Upon delivery, aliquot, and store at -25°C to -18°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.
