NeuN Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody Product Datasheet Catalog# BX50185 Clone# BP6163 Predicted Molecular Wt: 34kDa Purity: ProA affinity purified IgG Species Cross-reactivity: Human Form: Liquid Applications: IHC-P Swissprot ID: A6NFN3 Background: Neuronal nuclei (NeuN) is a nuclear protein expressed in most post-mitotic neurons of the central and peripheral nervous systems. NeuN is not detected in Purkinje cells, sympathetic ganglion cells, Cajal-Retzius cells, INL retinal cells, inferior olivary, ordentate nucleus neurons. NeuN contains an RNA recognition motif and functions as a splicing regulator. NeuN regulates alternative splicing of NumB, promoting neuronal differentiation during development. Subcellular location: Nucleus Recommended method: Heat induced epitope retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0), primary antibody incubate at RT (18°C-25°C) for 30 minutes. Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in Human NeuN was used as an immunogen. Storage Buffer: PBS 59%, Sodium azide 0.01%, Glycerol 40%, BSA 0.05%. Storage conditions: -25°C to -18°C Storage instructions: Shipped on blue ice. Upon delivery, aliquot, and store at -25°C to -18°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Recommended Dilutions: IHC-P: 1:100-1:200 Background References: 1. Long B etal. Front Neurosci 14:322 (2020). 2. Liu X etal. Acta Neuropathol Commun 8:16 (2020).
