NeuN is not detected in Purkinje cells, sympathetic ganglion cells, Cajal-Retzius cells, INL retinal cells, inferior olivary, ordentate nucleus neurons. NeuN contains an RNA recognition motif and functions as a splicing regulator. NeuN regulates alternative splicing of NumB, promoting neuronal differentiation during development. Subcellular location: Nucleus Recommended method: Heat induced epitope retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0), primary antibody incubate at RT (18°C-25°C) for 30 minutes.
